This retrofit column is designed to fit your Ford Truck and does NOT require modification to your original vehicle to install. This GM Style column features a GM top shaft and a 3 7/8" Wiring Plug. Pre-welded underdash mounts are included with all 1978-79 columns and are designed to fit your application. Use an ididit installation kit to install your new steering column in place of the old.
Please Note: A stock Ford steering wheel WILL NOT bolt to the ididit GM Style Ford column.
