Sanderson Headers CAD391-SEC Header Set, Cadillac 390–429

The CAD391 header set fits Cadillac 390 and 429 engines in 1951–65 Cadillac cars. It features a 3-tube design: The outer primary tubes are 1-5/8″ diameter, while the center (or inner) tube is 1-7/8″ diameter and exits through a 2½″ collector.

Driver-side header angles forward for steering box clearance.

Please compare the dimensions of this header set with those of the CAD392 (specifically the driver-side header) to confirm which is the best choice for the application. The CAD391 is best for original, factory chassis applications, and the CAD392 is best suited for applications using aftermarket chassis and steering.

NOTE: Does not include header bolts. Please source appropriate fasteners elsewhere.

Comes with all necessary collector hardware for installation.

In keeping with this, we warrant and will repair or replace, at our option after inspection in our facility, any of our products found to have failed due to defects in either material or workmanship. This warranty is activated by the return of the Warranty Card enclosed with every pair of headers and is effective for FIVE YEARS * from the purchase date on the original invoice.

This warranty does not cover products that fail due to improper motor tuning, alteration, disassembly, or damage caused by racing, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper installation and/or accident, or when used on applications for which they were not designed or approved. Use of external thermal wrap voids the warranty. We are not responsible for removal, installation, transportation, or other related costs.
