Dakota Digital BIM-16-1 Clock Module
IS YOUR HOTROD ADDICTED TO INFORMATION?1
The Dakota Digital BIM-16-1 is the perfect addition to your VFD gauge cluster. The BIM-16-1 allows you to have a clock in any vehicle whether or not it had a clock to start with. Simply plug the BIM-16-1 Clock module into any VFD system (with plastic control box only) and you're done, no cutting holes and no unsightly mouting hardware. Provides either 12 or 24 hour formats.
The BIM-16-1 is not necessary when using the RTX, HDX or VHX Series of instrumentation since a clock is a standard display within those instrument systems.
*The BIM-16-1 is designed to supply this information to the VFD3 systems with a black plastic control module. For any BIM-compatible control boxes which contain the 3.5mm headphone jack BIM input, add part number 394193 adaptor harness.  Earlier instrument systems with an aluminum control module are not capable of BIM connectivity.

| More Info | This Bus Interface Module has a constant battery power input and an accessory input. The battery power keeps the clock running and the accessory input powers the bus interface port.
There are two interface (I/O) ports on the module. Either one can be connected to the gauge system or to another module, allowing several units to be daisy chained together.
Do not connect the I/O port to anything other than a Dakota Digital gauge or BIM. Do not mount the module in the engine compartment; it should be mounted in interior of the vehicle. Each BIM needs a unique ID number assigned to it.
It can be assigned an ID from 1 – 16, or turned off. The factory default ID number is 7. The clock can run in 12 hour or 24 hour format. The factory default time format is 12 hour.
