Four-wheel drive vehicles come from the factory with a braking system designed to work for the stock vehicle. Lifted 4x4s with taller and heavier tire and wheel combinations need Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big brake front brake kits to restore stopping power.
SL4 kits are specifically engineered per application, but all revolve around Forged Narow Superlite 4R four-piston stainless steel calipers with their 4-symmetrical bores and high clamping force.

The unsurpassed braking capacity of the Forged Narrow Superlite 4R four-piston caliper serves as the basis of these 12.88” or 14.00” inch big rotor kits for the popular Ford Bronco vehicles. SL4R kits are engineered application specific to these vehicles, providing simplified installation. Each kit is engineered vehicle specific and utilizes the existing hub assembly. Big brake kits offer increased brake capacity and complimentary style with wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades.
