Sanderson HeadersCC134-P is a compact big tube header for high RPM motors in 1927-1949 cars with Small Block Chevy engines. The CC1-3/4 will also fit 1962-67 Nova with Mustang II front suspension. Features a 1-3/4" primary tube diameter and a 3" collector for all but the most radical performance engines.
This header will fit any rack and pinion set-up. Also fits Vega steering and any Mustang-style mounted steering that is mounted with 2" clearance from the steering gear to the center ports on the driver's side. The header will clear any motor mounts, tie rods, or steering rods.
Any starter and transmission combination will clear this header EXCEPT cast iron Powerglides.
We also offer a headpipe which simplifies installation in 1928-1934 cars. This is the most compact true performance header offered today. Comes with all hardware necessary for installation.
NOTE: This header works with straight or angle plug cylinder heads. For straight plug heads, certain tubes require dimpling for spark plug boot clearance. Please specify the cylinder heads and plug angle in the comments when ordering.

This header offers 1-3/4" primary tubes, which is good for 400+HP on a high performance engine applications. For larger or higher horsepower applications we offer other versions of this header with 1-7/8" primary tube sizes, and for mild applications we offer a 1½" and 1-5/8" primary tube headers.
Will fit Mustang and Vega style steering as long as there is 2" of clearance between the center exhaust ports and the steering gear.
The Patented Leak-Free Design that Sanderson Headers offer you is the only leak-free flange design on the market ... Do Not Attempt To Use Flange Gaskets! The raised flange on the Sanderson Headers will buckle the gasket during tightening and actually cause a leak!

Wrapping your Sanderson Headers with ANY thermal tape voids your header warranty. The best thermal protection for your headers is our Aluminized Ceramic Coating that is available for every Sanderson Header.

Our Aluminized Ceramic Coating is available and RECOMMENDED on all Sanderson Headers. We apply a multi-layer inside and outside silver ceramic coating in-house to meet our high standards of quality, and polish the coated header to a high luster. This coating provides aerospace and military technology to your vehicle to control the heat in your engine bay, improve cylinder scavenging of exhaust gases, and increase the longevity of your header investment. You can select Silver or Black Thermal Ceramic Coating.
Copper Collector Gaskets are recommended for all Sanderson Headers.
Sanderson Headers do not include collector bolts due to our customers' wide range of preference. We do offer a collector bolt set that features Grade 8 Bolts with Locking Nuts
WARRANTY:
Limited 5-Year Warranty
Sanderson Street Rod Headers strives to supply our customers with the highest quality parts and service available in the street rod industry. In keeping with this, we warrant and will repair or replace, at our option after inspection in our facility, any of our products which are found by us to have failed due to defects in either material or workmanship. This warranty is activated by the return of the Warranty Card enclosed with every pair of headers, and is effective for FIVE YEARS * from the date of purchase as indicated on the original invoice.
This Warranty does not cover products that fail due to improper motor tuning, alteration, disassembly, or damage caused by racing, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper installation and/or accident, or when used on applications for which they were not designed or approved. We are specifically not responsible for the costs of removal, installation, transportation, destruction of other components, inconvenience, loss of time, or other personal damages, or for any other associated costs including the application of aftermarket coatings applied by others. Sanderson Street Rod headers shall not be liable for any and all consequential damages occasioned by the breach of any written or implied warranty pertaining to this sale in excess of the purchase price of the product(s) as found on the original invoice.
