Power steering conversion / upgrade for 1962-1979 Mopar cars with 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" diameter pitman shaft and RB series big block 383/440 engine. Includes 14:1 quick ratio steering box, pump, bracket, pulley, hoses and steering column coupler.
Black Powder Coated Self-Contained Power Steering Pump with 1 Row Pulley and Press-On Shaft. Pump Pressure is 1200-1350 PSI with a 2.7-3.5 GPM Flow Rate.
Mopar power steering pump upgrade. Fits Mopar RB series 383/440 big block engines or 273/360 small block engines . Includes Saginaw style pump; bracket; pulley and hardware. All new components, black powder coated reservoir. Pressure fitting is a 5/8in.-18 flare
This is a modern power steering box for the 1962-1979 Mopars. This box fits both factory power & manual steering cars. The conversion box offers a 14:1 quick ratio, firm modern power steering feel, drastically increased header clearance and a 10# weight savings over a factory power box. This box bolts directly to the stock K-member mounting location and fits the original 1-1/8” or 1-1/4" pitman arm.
The steering column will need to be shortened for installation of this conversion box. Use of a power steering cooler is highly recommended in these applications.
