The heart of our 1.8T turbo upgrade kit is the higher output K04 turbo, manufactured by BorgWarner Turbo Systems, the original equipment supplier to Audi and VW. NEUSPEED includes a high performance P-Chip that re-maps boost, ignition timing and air/fuel ratio functions.
Notes:
Fits: 2001-05 Audi A4 1.8T w/ Varaiable Cam Timing and 2001.5-05 VW Passat 1.8T w/ Varaiable Cam Timing. VCT equipped engines have a cylinder shaped electrical solenoid at the back of the cylinder head.
For P-Chip installation: ECU needs to be flashed by one of our dealers or sent to Neuspeed Headquarters.
The K04 Upgrade Kit is not emission-certified for highway use. If you reside in California or states that follow California emission laws, this kit is intended for off-road use only. Check your state's emission laws before installing.
