Monster® Exhaust
Banks' 3" constant-diameter Monster exhaust pipes—formed of heavy-duty stainless steel—bolt behind the catalytic converter to slash backpressure up to 94%, improving 0-60 mph acceleration times by 1/3 of a second (4.5% quicker). The straight-through 3" Monster muffler delivers a throaty, yet civil, exhaust note and more than doubles stock flow (up to a 141% improvement). 6"X5" weld-on ob-round polished-stainless angle-cut rolled-edge tip (patent pending). Installation of the direct-fit system is bolt-on easy. Fully compatible with GM's factory warranty, the entire system is covered by Banks' lifetime warranty.
(For 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L only) Banks Ram-Air Intake feeds your Chevy/GMC gas engine cooler, denser, outside air for greater power and fuel economy. Its performance is extensively tested and validated: in the computer, using Computational Fluid Dynamics software ... on the flowbench ... and later, on the vehicle.
