This process creates pulleys that are 400 percent stronger than cast pulleys and 50 percent stronger than plain billet pulleys! Zoops pulleys are forged in a unique process that allows the metal to be formed to the shape of the pulleys, resulting in an ultra-strong forging that is just like the forged crankshaft and pistons used in high performance motors. For durability and safety, each pulley is heat-treated to a T6 condition, which hardens and strengthens the pulley forging to prevent fatigue cracking. Zoops then double tempers the forging to improve overall toughness and to prevent warping under load.
