PICKUP/EXCURSION: PowerPack rips the lid off '99-and-up Power Stroke potential, utilizing Banks' exclusive Techni-Cooler intercooler assembly and TwinRam manifold inlet to pack more cool, dense air into engine. The difference is stunning: with top gains of +104 hp, +224 lb-ft torque and 14% improved towing mileage, your Power Stroke can out-run, out-pull, out-perform and out-last any diesel on the planet.

F-250 & F-350 PICKUPS and EXCURSIONS: Banks 4" Monster exhaust pipes bolt behind the turbocharger. The streamlined turbine-outlet pipe, intermediate pipe and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to maximize flow, lower exhaust gas temps and slash backpressure up to 81%. (Available with or without a cast, large-bore Power Elbow™ housing.)

Monster® Exhaust
The polished-stainless Monster muffler features a straight-through 4"-diameter flow-path with a Banks-designed expansion chamber to dissipate the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that affects most straight-through designs. The muffler utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing, more than doubles stock exhaust flow, and delivers an authoritative—but never intrusive—exhaust sound. A huge 5" polished-stainless steel tailpipe tip sports a rolled edge. Double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe.

Techni-Cooler® Intercooler System
Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler system includes mandrel-bent 3" high-flow boost tubes ... large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks instead of the wimpy stock plastic ones that can rupture under high-boost conditions ... a high-flow inlet that distributes air evenly across the intercooler for an 18% increase in flow and more effective cooling ... a wide-open outlet ... and a thicker core area with impressive volume. Because the stock manifold inlet in early '99 Power Strokes flows more air to one side of the cylinder bank than to the other, Banks developed an innovative Twin-Ram manifold inlet assembly that flows air equally to both sides of the engine for smooth, even power delivery.

TransCommand®
(Required with Sidewinder® turbo, Stinger® and PowerPack® systems for Ford 6.9/7.3 and Power Strokes equipped with E4OD/4R100 automatic transmissions) TransCommand is an automatic-transmission-management computer that delivers functions that no single module can. The E4ODs and 4R100s—used in full-sized Ford trucks and vans since 1989—have soft, car-like shift characteristics. Many truck owners prefer firmer shifts, especially when hauling large loads. TransCommand is the quick, efficient cure. The electronic module senses the load and commands the transmission to raise the hydraulic pressure accordingly. Light-throttle shifts are smooth and firm, while full-throttle or heavy-load driving produces solid, decisive shifts. Excessive clutch slippage is eliminated, extending transmission life. Built with high-temp, solid-state components. Easy to install.

DynaFact® Gauges

Banks’ exclusive DynaFact electronic gauges offer precision that can’t be matched by mechanical gauges. The pyrometer provides exhaust-gas temperature (EGT) measurements that are accurate within ±15° F at maximum operating temperatures. The pyro's spring-loaded, jeweled movement is resistant to vibration and sports a lit, easy-to-read 0-1500° F face. Banks' 0-50 psi boost gauge monitors power and turbo performance. Includes 2-gauge mounting panel. Top-mount and/or pillar-mount options available.
